| ANNUAL MEETING | | Thank you all for another successful NEALS Meeting. This year’s 2 ½ -day meeting in St. Pete Beach, Florida featured several guest speakers in addition to the annual science and clinical trial updates. We proudly report that 34 members presented research as either a poster or a platform presentation. Additionally, NEALS offered specialized project management, site management, and outcome trainings. We believe the Annual NEALS Meeting gives the ALS research community a unique opportunity to convene, disseminate information, conduct business, and enhance disease understanding. It is our hope that the annual meeting contributes to improved ALS research, treatment, and patient care. Reimbursements If you are filing for reimbursement, please remember that NEALS only reimburses up to $500.00 per site. We will only accept reimbursements submitted before December 31st. *Lithium Sites: If you are a US Lithium Study Site: Lithium will reimburse one-night hotel stay and airfare for ONE staff member. If you are a Canadian Lithium Site: the Lithium Study will reimburse one-night hotel stay and airfare for two staff members.
